What is NOURISH Notes?

An evidence-based, mental health and wellness initiative that helps families access quick, age-appropriate mental resets through simple tap-to-open supports, developed by HHEH in partnership with TagsToTap. It focuses on 5 pivotal pillars of mental health: breathe, sleep, move, connect and nourish.

What is the technology?

A programmed magnet with integrated sticker and embedded NFC technology can be provided in multiple formats. When a cell phone taps the magnet/sticker, an age appropriate wellness message and interaction opens instantly. (It's the same technology used for contactless payments, keyless entries, etc.). Inserts are swappable for continued experiences which are renewed and current.

Why NOURISH Notes?

  • A shared resource that is simple and easy to use

  • Reinforces healthy routines

  • Extends care in in beyond school

  • Personal and accessible when needed

What happens after you tap?

  • A simple menu for youth and adults

  • Short, age-appropriate resets for everyday calm, connection and care

  • Micro actions tied to the 5 mental health pillars

  • Audio and text, depending on the experience selected

  • Repeated use is encouraged through familiarity

Where can NOURISH Notes be used?

  • Magnets can be placed in visible, shared household spaces

  • Stickers are portable e.g. for use on water bottles, binders, backpacks, etc.

  • NOURISH Notes can be adapted for classroom integration with student-designed sticker inserts, STEAM-designed labs, health and wellness curriculum tie-ins and more
