Clayton County Back to School Bash
HHEH served as a Block Party partner working with the Atlanta Community Food Bank to provide Georgia grown fresh produce to families to start the school year off on the right foot including cucumbers, zucchini, acorn squash, potatoes, watermelon and cantaloupe.
STEM Forum
Presented "Food is not trash. Food is Medicine. Enhancing STEM learning through Helping Hands Ending Hunger's unique Food Rescue/Pantry Model Addressing Food Waste and Food Insecurity." Joined a cohort of 60 presenters to share our program mission, impact and outcomes.
HHEH Charity Night at the Chattanooga Red Wolves
A Charity Night in support of Helping Hands Ending Hunger Inc. at the Chattanooga Red Wolves game on May 11th!
As the chosen charity of the night, Helping Hands Ending Hunger Inc. benefited directly from ticket sales.
2023 City of Forest Park Recognition
In honor of HHEH's service and support in the city of Forest Park, GA
Free Gifts at the Park
Making summer a little brighter for more than 250 of our neighbors in need in the Forest Park GA. Shoppers got to fill their bags with choice household items, clothes, kitchenware, bedding, shoes, baby goods, and toys valued at over $250,000, thanks to our partnership with Good360. Dedicated community partners stepped up to support including Clayton County School District, Forest Park High School, Kroger Delivery, Chick-fil-A, Robinson Weeks, Bluestar Studios, and Clayton Co. Council of PTA's. Amazing community volunteers made the effort seamless.
Two Georgias Initiative (2018-2022)
A collaboration of community partners funded by a 5 year grant from Healthcare Georgia Foundation, expanding programming and building sustainability in Chattooga County.
Bibb Co. Schools Pilot Celebration
Bibb Co. Superintendent Dr. Dan Sims and Karen Lambert, Peyton Anderson Foundation, spoke. A Kids Helping Kids Champion Award was given to Dell Bunker, Mercer. Toby the Bear and Mercer Athletes and School of Business students conducted a food drive and attended in support.

2022 Spring Fling Walker County Copy
Partnering with Good360 to distribute toys, bedding, kitchen items, bags, shoes, and baby goods to help bridge the needs gap of Helping Hands families in Northwest Georgia. Amazing volunteers from Ridgeland High School and LaFayette High School. Impacting more than 400 families in the community.
2022 Riverdale Elementary Harvest on Garden Walk
Making fall special for children and families in Riverdale Georgia, in partnership with Good360 and Atlanta Community Food Bank, HHEH offered an amazing shopping experience. Household goods, bedding, clothing, shoes, bags, toys and baby items were shared with the community. Student volunteers from Drew High School, including ROTC, FBLA and the football team made it a success. Fresh produce, consisting of carrots, squash, zucchini, potatoes and organic sweet potatoes, topped the food giveaway menu. An impactful event reaching more than 300 children and more families in need. Shouting out to Principal Michael Faison, Riverdale Elementary School, Jason MacFarlane, VP, Nonprofit and Donation Strategy, Good360, and Jessie Goree, Chairman, Clayton Co. School Board for all the support.
2022 Dougherty County School District Celebration
Recognizing the efforts of student leaders and school faculty/staff in 19 schools throughout the district and honoring Superintendent Kenneth Dyer with the Kids Helping Kids Champion Award 2022. Key note speaker Deputy State Superintendent Bronwyn Ragan-Martin.
2021 Miracle on Garden Walk
Golden tickets giving over $100,000 worth of toys, kitchen, bedding, baby shoes, bags make the Holidays special for families in Clayton County, in partnership with Good360, Riverdale Elementary School and the Clayton Co. School District. Student helpers from Drew High School's football team and ROTC, along with Riverdale High School's FFA, gave a helping hand.

Recognizing Helping Hands Ending Hunger for its efforts on behalf of food insecure children and families in Georgia, which positively impact the educational performance and health of participating children, foster social and emotional learning for students, improve school climates, and build sustainable community-driven solutions that address the challenges of food insecurity and school food waste.
2021 Remedium Life Science of GA durable goods distribution
A partnership with Remedium Life Science of Georgia insures families in need have basic necessities for productive lives. Products include bedding, kitchen items, clothing, shoes, medical supplies, fitness/exercise equipment, baby goods, toys, educational programming supplies, and other specialty items.
2019 Atlanta Community Food Bank Hunger Walk/Run
The Hunger Walk Run raises funds and awareness for hunger relief through a sponsored 5K event every spring. Valuable food credit with the Atlanta Community Food Bank is earned by participating Helping Hands chapters.
